Dr Roshanak Amrein, affectionately known as Dr Rosh, is a leading cosmetic dentist based in Adelaide. She graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Adelaide in 2000 and later completed a Graduate Certificate in Clinical Dentistry in 2005.

Dr Rosh has more than 20 years of experience in cosmetic and general dentistry, having worked in both the UK and Australia. In 2007, she established Adelaide Cosmetic Dentistry, located in Hyde Park, Unley. Her practice is known for combining advanced dental technology with a boutique, patient-focused experience.

Her philosophy centres on minimum intervention dentistry—providing gentle, minimally invasive treatments while educating patients about their oral health. Beyond cosmetic dentistry, she has a strong interest in sleep health and the role dentistry plays in airway and sleep-related issues. She also founded the Adelaide Airway Interest Group to promote collaboration among health professionals in this area.

Dr Rosh is well-regarded by her patients for her professionalism, empathy, and attention to detail. She is described as approachable, compassionate, and meticulous, earning her a reputation as one of Adelaide’s most trusted cosmetic dentists.

Originally from Iran, Dr Amrein came to Australia in the mid-1990s as part of the Bahá’í community, which faced severe persecution in her home country. Despite arriving with limited English, she completed high school, learned the language, and successfully gained entry into dental school—a milestone she recalls with pride. Beyond dentistry, she is a published poet with two collections, Songs from a Far Island and One Million Flights. Her poetry has been featured on national radio. She is also active in community-building and human rights advocacy.
